Paxton, a "Normalite" at the University of Virginia from Goshen, Va., writes about experiences at the summer school. Most of the letter is devoted to a snyopsis of Ingram's biography of Poe. She briefly mentions a good meal, a dance, and farewells with Professors Newell and Ruffner. She also describes an unsuccessful attempt to obtain a teaching position in Lexington, Va., and her appointment to the school in Bath; and closes with news of family and friends.
